Do you like to take photos, with your camera or your cell phone? Are there moments in your daily life that catch your eye and you would like to capture them in pictures? The Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data has just launched a photo contest for its entire internal community, which seeks to collect the views of students, researchers and collaborators on their world and their work.

Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data
1.- ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The I IMFD Photography Contest seeks to create a space for relaxation and invite the IMFD Community to look at the world of research with new eyes, highlighting the work of researchers, students and the community through images.
2.- WHO CAN COMPET AND CATEGORIES
The contest is open to the entire IMFD community, that is, to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, post-doctoral students, researchers and collaborators, with the exception of the directors of the institute.
The members of the IMFD who are part of the jury, nor those who make up the Communications Unit, cannot participate either.
The contest is divided into two categories. Those who participate can compete in both categories, if they wish:
Category 1: At work
Images, how research is lived, in the work or study environment.
Category 2: Data and everyday life
Images that show the connection between the data (whether related to the contestants’ work or not) and everyday life.
II. REQUIREMENTS
1. Photos must be original, taken by the contestants.
2. If the contestant appears in a photo, the person taking the photo must sign the consent attached here for it to be submitted by the person contestant.
3. Image editing (light or color regulation, for example) is allowed, but an intervention that alters the actual content is not allowed.
4. Each image must be accompanied by a brief description.

The deadline to send the photographs is Friday, June 16, to the email comunicaciones-imfd@imfd.cl

1st place in each category:
A 2TB anti-shock hard drive.
2nd place in each category:
A 1TB anti-shock hard drive
3rd place in each category:
A 1TB anti-shock hard drive
Honorable mentions in each category:
Gamer mouse, set of notebook and pencils.
