Aidan Hogan

Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile, PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Ireland. He worked with the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI, Galway, Ireland) as a post-doctoral researcher, until 2013 when he accepted a position as an academic at the University of Chile. He is part of the editorial board of two journals dedicated to the semantic web and has been a member of the program committees of recognized international conferences, such as AAAI, ESWC, ICDT, IJCAI, ISWC and WWW, among others. The research areas in which he has focused his work are, mainly, the semantic web and the study of various web data structures, whether indexing, querying, reasoning, searching or understanding the relationships between these processes.
