Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile and Research Assistant at the Millennium Institute of Foundational Data Research (IMFD). His current research interests include Computer Vision, Multimedia Information Retrieval, Computational Linguistics, Vision and Language, and Machine Learning. He works on applications such as automatic video description and automatic video generation from text. Other research interests include object recognition, face recognition, and action recognition.
