October 2022 – With a wide online and in-person attendance, a new Research Seminar took place on the 4th floor of the UC Innovation Building, coordinated by the Academic Directorate of the IMFD, aimed at promoting interdisciplinary studies and sharing experiences among the diverse teams of the Institute.

This time, the presentation was given by Cristián Riveros, faculty member at the UC Department of Computer Science and IMFD researcher, with the research topic “Data Streams: Challenges and Some Solutions.”

The academic discussed the challenges related to data and the systems designed to address them, rethinking data management systems where users can obtain timely information without causing system overload.

Professors, researchers, and students had the opportunity to ask questions and provide additional insights, creating an interdisciplinary space, which is one of the main objectives of each IMFD Research Seminar.
